A vibrant day!!

An assembly was conducted by the M.Ed. students of our college. The function which started with an invocation to God, comprised of their logo release, a book release, campus news and other events. 



Then we had our optional class by Meekha ma'am. Next, we had the continuation of the workshop from yesterday. Life Skills and Disaster Management were the topics for discussion. The interactive session was concluded by Shiney ma'am's vote of thanks.




Then we had our P.E. session by George sir. He permitted the interested students to play cricket and badminton. I was really happy to hold a racket after so many years. Even though I lost touch with the game, I was able to enjoy it. Later, we had a library familiarisation session and finally we had the practice session for the upcoming Talent Hunt.

Aliferous

The morning was made special by the initial assembly conducted by the first year B.Ed. English students. The function was more awe inspiring as we unfurled our association's name, "Aliferous" and its official logo. The assembly was a huge success not only because it was well-organized but also since all of us came together to make it happen. The first session was our optional class by Meekha ma'am. Then we had Ancy ma'am's class. We revised certain points from Technology section and moved on to the Psychology section about Growth and Development. Then we had a brief NAAC mock visit session. Finally, we went to our own classes.

College Re-opens!!

With the end of the Christmas holidays, we have restarted our journey as prospective teachers. The initial session was our optional class was Meekha ma'am. We discussed in detail about the Pedagogic Content Analysis of SCERT text books (8,9,10) in groups. The next session was engaged by Joju sir. He started the class with a prayer to the new year of 2022. We discussed about the basics of e - content and were assigned to create an e - content on our own.  The last hours were dealt by Maya ma'am. We discussed about the various teacher competencies, qualities etc. It was an engaging session with lots to reflect upon.
