A Trip to Remember ❤️

As a part of our B.Ed. curriculum, we went for a one-day trip to Palaruvi and Thenmala on 5 November, 2022. We were thrilled to start the journey as soon as possible. We were divided into two groups (3 optionals each) and certain teachers were assigned to us accordingly. We set out on our journey at 6:30 am in two buses - Adharva and Little Move, after a short prayer session. We reached Palaruvi and had breakfast. To be honest, most of us were starving and the food made a huge difference to our mood.

Then it was time to see the Palaruvi waterfall. It was really an awesome experience. We were totally mesmerized by its beauty and vigour. The sound of water against the rocks helped us calm down. Many people took a dip in the cool waters and I soaked my feet and rested on rocks. It was fun to observe several events. Then, we went back to the resting station. After freshening up, we set out to Thenmala.
It was a fun experience.

After lunch, we went for boating in the Shenduruney river. I enjoyed a lot seeing the river water getting churned because of our boat's speed. Unfortunately, there weren't any animal sightings. After boating, we went to explore the various zones at Thenmala. The leisure zone actually helped us connect with nature and reduce our stress. Even though the walk made us tired, we were happy to have a great bonding time together. The tiring walk compelled us to have some snacks and drinks. Some of the naughty monkeys stole food items from us.

At night we saw the light n' shadow show, describing the history of Thenmala. Towards the middle of the session, we got soaked in the unexpected rain. We ran to seek shelter once the show came to an end. Later, we witnessed the infamous musical fountain - a perfect blend of music with water. We totally fell in love with this awesome experience. Due to persistent rain, the organizers had to cancel the campfire. Instead they played us a couple to songs and most of us danced till our feet could move no more.
Our stomach's started rumbling and it's then we decided to have dinner. We had chapati and chicken curry at a chapel nearby. There wasn't an ounce of energy left in any of us. We glided down the stairs and somehow entered our buses. Many of us passed out due to exhaustion. I still had some energy left and so I danced a bit. We reached the college by 11:45 pm thus marking an end to our wonderful journey.
